Dare Denim

Hello!

I was born at the dawn of the 90’s, I think I can call myself a true 90’s kid. I as a kid enjoyed playing outside in the crazy Delhi heat, watching a lot of Tom and Jerry on Cartoon Network and reading Enid Blyton books . I was a child during the 90’s but having a sister who is 8 years elder to me, I saw her go through her teenage and Oh my god! that was a real treat to watch. It was the era of backstreet boys, Shaggy, Janet Jackson and the Spice Girls and the 90’s fashion was all about platform trainers, hair beads, crop tops and DENIM.

DENIM was the fabric of that decade, and though it did lose it’s importance for a while in the new millennium it surely did come back with a rage. How I curse my sister for throwing away all her denim shirts and jackets because she felt gone are the days of daring denim.

I love how a simple lose denim shirt can change a boring all black outfit and give it a more casual and laid back look. I decided to pair it with silver accessories and glittery blue flip flops to add a pop of colour.
